Georgia Tea Towel
Details
"It is well with my soul"
This tea towel is named in honor of Georgia who was born still into Jesus's loving arms on July 29, 2004. Her mother Danielle had living children prior to Georgia's birth. She became pregnant again with her third daughter a few years after Georgia's death.
Danielle has these words of encouragement for moms experiencing pregnancy after loss: "I let the emotions wash over me and prayed that I could be present for my kids. I wasn't while I was grieving, understandably. Eventually, as I got further into my pregnancy, it went away and the lightness and excitement took over completely. Our bodies protect our baby and our heart at the same time. This baby will be tied to your child in heaven in a spiritual way like [her third daughter's name] is to Georgia. She is here because Georgia is gone. It's sad and beautiful and God's plan for our family. He is with you."
The words are from Horatio Spafford's hymn of the same name: "Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say: It is well, it is well, with my soul."
